Small-batch breads, flaky pastries, and carefully pulled espressos — made fresh each morning at our Barney Avenue bakery.
Our Story
Big Dreams Bakery began as weekend experiments in a home kitchen — a passion for sourdough, a belief that breakfast should slow you down, and a stubborn refusal to accept mass-produced bread.
Today we bake every morning at 68 Barney Avenue, using locally milled flour, wild-yeast starters we've tended for years, and recipes that change with the seasons. Our café is a place for neighbors to gather, linger, and start the day right.
Inside the Bakery
Kind Words
The sourdough here changed the way our family thinks about bread. We drive from Providence just for the morning loaves now.
There's something about walking in here at 7 AM — the smell, the warmth, the way everyone knows your name. It feels like home.
Best espresso in the area, hands down. And the croissants? Flaky in a way I didn't think was possible on a Tuesday morning.
